Re: manually installing patches IMO the easiest thing to do would be: 1) Register your copy of D2 to a new 2.0 account 2) Download the D2 client install package 3) Copy it to a CD-Rom 4) Install it on the non-networked computer The client install comes fully updated to patch 1.12.
Most users will only need to copy D2Music.mpq from the Diablo 2 Play CD and/or D2xMusic.mpq from the Lord of Destruction CD. For users that originally performed a 'Full Installation' and wish to run without the CD, all '.MPQ' files should be copied from the Diablo 2 CDs to the Diablo 2 directory.
